DANIEL G. ELCAN
Daniel G. Elcan, founder and president of Elcan and Associates, Inc., earned his bachelor’s degree in arts and business from Spring Hill College in 1980. After graduation, Elcan launched his career in real estate with a prominent development firm in the Mobile area. There he honed his skills in brokerage and leasing and quickly rose through the ranks to manage all aspects of development. In 1984, he founded Elcan and Associates, Inc., which today is recognized as an accomplished real estate development company representing national and regional retailers throughout the country.

Elcan is an active leader in St. Ignatius Parish, serving as a member of the Parish Council, the building committee, and teaches 8th grade religion for the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine students (CCD). He is an active supporter of the American Cancer Society and American Heart Association as well as the United Way. Among his most notable recent honors was his election to the Board of Trustees of his alma mater, Spring Hill College, in 2004. Elcan resides in Mobile with his wife and three children. His leisure time is devoted to hunting, fishing, boating, coaching his son’s baseball team and numerous other family activities.
